She will always be in our hearts,\u2019 a tribute from George, his children and other Kennedy\u00a0\u00a0family\u00a0members read in an\u00a0<span data-track-module=\"internal-body-link\">Instagram<\/span>\u00a0post that announced Tatiana\u2019s death on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Family<\/p>\n<p>Just last month,\u00a0<span data-track-module=\"internal-body-link\">Schlossberg revealed<\/span>\u00a0in a candid essay for\u00a0The New Yorker\u00a0\u2013 published on the 62nd anniversary of her grandfather\u2019s assassination \u2013 that she had been given a year to live.<\/p>\n<p>In the piece, Schlossberg praised Moran for his\u00a0<span data-track-module=\"internal-body-link\">support throughout her treatment<\/span>, writing: \u2018George did everything for me that he possibly could.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2018He talked to all the doctors and insurance people that I didn\u2019t want to talk to; he slept on the floor of the hospital; he didn\u2019t get mad when I was raging on steroids and yelled at him that I did not like Schweppes ginger ale, only\u00a0<span data-track-module=\"internal-body-link\">Canada<\/span>\u00a0Dry.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She added, \u2018He would go home to put our kids to bed and come back to bring me dinner. Mine was a hundred and thirty-one thousand cells per microliter,\u2019 she wrote.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2018It could just be something related to pregnancy and delivery, the doctor said, or it could be leukemia,\u2019 she recalled.<\/p>\n<p>Schlossberg was eventually diagnosed with a \u2018rare mutation called Inversion 3\u2019 which \u2018could not be cured by a standard course.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Schlossberg said she was bewildered by the news, and said despite being nine months pregnant, she was routinely exercising and \u2018didn\u2019t feel sick.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I did not \u2013 could not \u2013 believe that they were talking about me. I had swum a mile in the pool the day before, nine months pregnant. I wasn\u2019t sick. I didn\u2019t feel sick. Kennedy, was assassinated in Dallas in November 1963, five days before Caroline\u2019s sixth birthday.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Five years later Caroline\u2019s uncle Robert Kennedy was assassinated in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>In 1994, Caroline\u2019s mother Jacqueline Kennedy-Onassis \u2013 the former First Lady of the United States \u2013 died of lymphoma at the age of sixty four.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And in 1999 Caroline lost her only sibling, John F.
